
If you want to step into the “the political drama and familial tensions of the 1960s,” read this book. Although graphic and brutally honest, it is also filled with compassion and hope. When I finished reading, my heart was renewed with both.
Published in 1995, The Invisible Circus, is Egan’s first novel. A few years ago I read Manhattan Beach (2017) and now plan to read all her books written in between.
