Belief is not contrary to fact. It simply transcends it. To believe something is to know its truth not so much in our minds but in the center of our souls.
We too must be afraid and awed and amazed that we cannot live forever and that our replacements are eager for their turn, indifferent to our wishes, read to leave us behind.
The law of the universe is thought first, and then expression; and never can this law be reversed.
We must be marked by a heightened God consciousness. Then all kinds of things will happen.
It is a wholesome and necessary thing for us to turn again
to the Earth and in the contemplation of her beauties to know of
wonder and humility.

Have you noticed how, when you are in heaviness, you are always tempted to think about yourself—your uselessness, your failures, your nothings—yourself in one way or another?
Looking behind I am filled with gratitude. Looking forward I am filled with vision. Looking upwards I am filled with strength. Looking within I discover peace.
