I’m also aware that not everyone is looking for silence, solitude and simplicity as a way of life. Their lives are in full, active, immersion mode—family, jobs, vacations, volunteer work. They are happy to be there, but in their busyness, they long for more of the 3S’s and look for ways they can fit a little of it into their lives, if only as a dream.
When I started this blog in November 2010, I knew I longed for silence, solitude and simplicity and sometimes to be alone, and that I wanted to write about it. Now, moving toward the two year mark, I find that I am not only longing for the 3S’s, but am trying more and more to cradle my life in them.
