I was going to blog about cleaning up the house after the family departed, but I decided I didn’t have anything interesting or unique to say. You all have your own version of cleanup and why would you ever want to see a picture of our place when you can scan the real thing at yours?
So here I am today, feeling as free as I can be after a wonderful holiday. After church and a stop to visit a friend at a nursing home, I’ll be heading to the cottage. To appreciate silence, solitude and simplicity, there’s nothing like experiencing some contrast, and the holidays offer one of the best I know.
