I try to refrain from specific religious thoughts, specifically of my faith as a Christian; and yes, this is from Paul’s letter to the Galatians in the New Testament. I assume, however, that these fruits, these nine ways of being, are qualities that those of you reading this blog very likely long for. If you spend any time in solitude, silence and simplicity, one or more of them falls onto your plate.
Some may feel ripe in your life, others not quite ready for you to bite. And, there may be one or more that is in the distance, far away from coming into fruition in your life. Then there may be one that keeps appearing in the bowl, begging to ripen and be a beautiful presence in your life. Mine is patience.
